👉 Make sure your internet is fast enough for smooth playback.
We recommend a minimum internet download speed of 1.5Mbps for video on demand content and 4Mbps for live event content. You can test your internet speed by using a service such as www.speedtest.net. If your download speed is slower, your viewing experience may be degraded. Please note that viewing a live video stream over a wireless connection can be unreliable.
👉 There could be a few causes resulting in slow or interrupted video playback.
In general, if you’re connecting over Wi-Fi and experiencing constant re-buffering or other issues during playback, try moving your router to a closer and elevated location far away from other devices that may cause electrical interference. Turning off additional devices connected to the same network might help with signal quality. Google home, Chromecast, Alexa, Multiple Phones, Pads or Laptops all fight over one wifi signal.
👉 Ad-blockers & Browser extensions may also be interfering with the video.
Turn extensions Off and "Hard refresh" the page. This is done by pressing the "Ctrl+F5" keys on Windows or "Cmd+Shift+R" on Mac. Multiple opened tabs may sometimes cause issues. Close all instances of your browser then relaunch the browser and try again. If that doesn't help, clear your browser cache.

Basic Troubleshooting for content creators...
👉 Internet speed!
For live streaming, the video file size depends on the quality of the content and encoder settings.
We recommend an upload speed of: 3 Mbps for 480p
6 Mbps for 720p
13 Mbps for 1080p
👉 Use a dedicated internet connection, if you can.
This means you are connected via Ethernet to a network that is not being used by any other system or device. If there is not a dedicated internet connection available, streaming can be achieved over a shared network, Wi-Fi, or 4G. However, using these methods increases the likelihood of a failure and is not recommended.
Before broadcasting, you should confirm your upload speed. Doing so will allow you to properly select the quality at which you are able to stream. You can test your connection here. Make sure you have at least 30 - 40% buffer in your bandwidth, just in case.
If your organization provides wi-fi to everyone in the building on the same network as your live stream, you dilute the bandwidth dedicated to your broadcast.
There are few ways to combat the crowded network issue f.e:
You could make your internet connection private so that people need a password to access the connection.
You can give your live streaming encoder quality of service (QoS) prioritization to allocate a certain amount of bandwidth on your network. QoS can be complicated, so you may want to talk with an IT professional before you start experimenting.
👉The stream is not coming through.
It is pretty easy, in all the hustle before the event to make a mistake in Encoder settings. Large amount of random symbols to copy and paste. Mistakes can and will happen. Make sure you dry-run your stream ahead of time.
